the TRX Suspension Training System is a lightweight, all-in-one piece of equipment. this is the ultimate in functional training. train multiple muscles at once, in multiple planes of movement with the ability to modify all exercises with ease. this workout is unlike any you have ever experienced.
TRX Suspension Training is packed with movements that you are already familiar with, but they are distinguished from traditional exercises in that either the user’s hands or feet are supported by a single anchor point, while the opposite end of the body is in contact with the ground. this allows the user to make each exercise easier or harder simply by changing the angle of the body, or by changing how much of the body is supported on the ground.
TRX is able to challenge the novice exerciser right next to the trained athlete without skipping a beat!
at f.i.t. we offer 3 TRX options:
this 5-week session is designed for those who have never used the TRX trainer, or for those who have not had the proper introduction to it. by the end of the session you will be more than prepared to move onto one of our other offerings.
TRX Total Body Blast
the Total Body Blast workout is set to music as in many traditional group fitness classes. this format offers consistancy in your movements while training your entire body in alternating rounds of upper body and lower body.
TRX Circuit Training
circuit training runs in a timed format. timed rounds of upper body, lower body, core, and cardio are rotated. this workout gives you the option to move more quickly or more slowly depending upon how you are feeling on any given day.
